Unfair Ban? Can I get an appeal

I know it is not much use begging to be un-banned because there are really no ban appeals but just hear me out. I really would like to be un-banned because I think this whole situation is petty and immature.

So yeah about a day ago I was pitching my guns question around (if pirate craft should have guns like muskets?) the server. I finally decided to ask Reaper what his opinions were on the matter. He said he did not agree with it and said we would have to replace a block to do so which I said was untrue. We could use some items that are not much use to people such as Golden axes and Golden pickaxes just as example. I cannot remember the exact words said but Reaper replied “Well I use golden tools alot so end of conversation. I want to hear nothing more of it” (something like that). So I got defensive and angered and I called him a “Dick”. He then asked “Who are you calling a dick” and I responded “You were being scum so I called you a dick”. He said “Don’t come back” then kicked me. I re-logged because I was doing a project with my base and then he said “Now I’m gonna ban you.” I didn’t take it seriously and then it said “You have been banned from this server for dick”.

Now I think this is some high-grade bull. I learned from my friend Brian that Reaper said “I don’t like Hobo he has bad mouthed me times before and I’m glad he’s gone for good”. First off he has “bad mouthed” me first. I remember once got into a /msg fight and he told me “Grow up Hobo its a game. You need to get more mature.” I reminded him about the closing of shops because of his storage house being broken into and that was childish he shut them down. And in this I asked him politely what he thought about the guns and he snaps at me which I think is also immature. This falls under a basic rule(also a server rule) of the world. Treat others how you want to be treated. I don’t want to be “bitched” and I don’t want to “bitch” anyone. He also said I was poaching players telling them I had a server. I’m too scared to open a server because someone could possibly hack my router so no. I didn’t give them a ip address so how does it count as poaching? I just think I was banned for not much reason especially “Dick” being a reason. I want to help Pirate Craft not ruin it.

*The server rule is respect other players and staff. And I wasn’t even respected by staff.

1st off, your right we dont have ban appeals, and the relevant person to appeal to would be myself, as i dealt with the situation.

Making this a public appeal, shows this is more to try and make a pop at myself than it is to make any other point.

You mentioned your gun suggestion, i then told you to take it to the forum, the proper place to discuss any sort of server development.

i made my point that losing an Item from the inventory is a bad idea, and that there isnt a block id want to lose. you then asnswered me with ” no you wouldnt have to lose anything” then followed that up with ” you could replcae golden axe” contradicting yourself within seconds of arguning my point.

i did then end my point with end of converstaion, having already told you my opinion, and told you to tkae it to the forum i no longer wanted to discuss another pointless query, you werent the first that day that hard suggested yet another server mod, and quite frankly there is only so many times i can repeat, take it to the forum, thats the point in it!

I didnt provoke you to verbally abuse me by calling me a Dick, i simply ended a long windede pointless conversation, and becuase it didnt end in the way you may have expected it, you got stroppy.

I wont tolerate being called names by anyone, especially not someone who has already caused me annoyance in the past.

Your point about me closing my shops is irrelevant, its not a server shop, its my own shop as a player, if i want to stop selling stuff then i have every right to do so, strangely enough i did it to get the information of who had raided me, and it worked, i got the information i needed and could act upon it, thats why the shop was reopened, not that it has any relevance or bearing to your original point.

I had witnessed you msging players with promises of being staff when you started your server, now whether or not you have a server, have intentions of making a server, or pussied out of making a server has no relevence to the fact that i witnessed you saying so.And that is enough to show that had you gone ahead with your server you would have continued to take players with you.

seeing as you didnt message me directly, tried to make a big spectacle of this and went about this completely the wrong way, you need to think about it, am i likely to change my mind?

First of all, this has nothing to do with guns, if you open your eyes, you will see there is a poll on the website and a forum thread, you are not the first person to request this, the server is coming upto 2 years old.

So let me get this right, Even after a senior admin member said he was finished with a conversation, you thought the best way to go about your brilliant idea was to be abusive and disrespectful to staff.

Instead of an instant ban, You were issued a “warning shot” of a kick, kicks are used as “cooldown” method, a time to take a breath from the game and make a cup of tea to come back an apologise for being an asshole.

Posting a ban appeal, still not taking any responsibility for your actions while trying to convince other members of staff that Reaper is in the wrong for your childish behaviour is unbelievable, I stand with my staffs position.

If I were you I would start with an apology for having a bad day, everyone has bad days.

This really does not sound like a server you should play on with this attitude, There are thousands of badly run, children administered servers that you might enjoy more, PirateCraft is for the community play together, not to insult out staff.

@Tom your old @Jon I think you were a bit harsh on Hobo considering other people curse all the times and nothing happens… It is part of playing a game… I do, however, think that Hobo should be punished but just not as serverely. Maybe enforce some extra rules and try and change his in-game behaviour. I think the admins have banned more people the past 3 months than any other time (of course I’m young unlike gods :P) So I’m suggesting possibly lessen the ban sentence to maybe a few days and after that, have people monitor his game behavior for a week. If hobo so much as does one thing wrong or curses or flames at admins/players, then perma-ban him instantly. This situation is different from others I think because from my perspective this was a petty argument that did not call for such a harsh punishment…. Think over my suggestion above ^ and decide if you want to break the habit of insta-perm-banning so many players and give 1 player a second chance to see how it goes.

I have laid my opinion above, If you acted as suggested I might consider a lesser punishment, But this decision is not up to me and I have no place in this appeal.

Gods is right. I haven’t had the best two weeks. I would like to apologize for my actions. I am sorry for lashing out at something so minor, it was uncalled for. I’ve been very angry over the pass days because of some personal problems. I shouldn’t be a “internet ass wipe” and take out my aggression on people who haven’t done anything to. I didn’t respond in a timely manner because I actually sat down and thought about it. I would’ve gotten to this hours ago but couldn’t because I was at school during this time. I mean what I am about to say with the most respect but the forum post was made when I was banned and the poll came up after I posted this thread. Reaper when you said “block” I thought you meant blocks such as dirt,cobblestone,Emerald ore,etc. not all items. I again apologize to anybody who had to do with this thread and just would like to be accepted back into the pirate craft server.
