Remove TP

I know this has been posted millions of times. So I’ll keep this short.

I would be excited to see Teleporting removed.

– More crew/community cities and builds

– More trade areas across the world

– Increased use of ships (with increased speed), ship warfare.

– Increased territory/empire bases

Whilst this will be like pulling a plaster off, like bottling its something people rely on and in time would grow to enjoy the added gameplay that replaces it. I know there would need to be lots done to make this work which I would be happy to commit time to.

Dont hate me, just wanted to log my opinion somewhere on the matter 😛

Suggestion: Add tping only for naked people? so you can visit friends bases etc

And answered a million and one times. Godsy will create a new world, with the emphasis on a more ship based experience, a lack of Grief Prevention, and a lack of Teleportation. I feel like I’m posting this every other day now 😛

I agree Browe, but then people then come to forums most likely saying:

“WHAT THE F*CK IS THIS SERVER!? They have no tp and it’s so hard to playyyyyyyy! I QUIT!”

“plsplsplsplsplspls bring tp back”

“Are the staff really stupid? WE NEED TP!”

Not saying they will say this, but I imagine the future if to gets removed 😛

Well no one is making you reply to the forums are they Crazy? Didn’t realise you’d appointed yourself the resident busy body!

This is post is mainly to log my opinion on the matter somewhere so godsy can better gauge community response to such an idea. Sorry if it inconveniences you.

Ohh, someone has a temper. I’m just saying, this same post has come up every week now, for the past two months. If you actually read my response, you’d see that I specifically said, ‘godsy will create a new world…’

As in, he’s already going ahead with it, and for that reason, there isn’t a need to ‘gauge community response’. I just wish people read the forums a bit before posting yet another ‘lets disable tp’ ‘lets disable gp’ ‘lets disable /home’ ‘more ships’ topics.

Gods already knows the community response. PirateCraft started out as a no TP server, and a lot of people hated it because they couldn’t get around super easily and quickly. Responses were similar to what Ketoh said. Gods has stated multiple times that he is working on a server without TP, and you stating your opinion doesn’t really affect anything about it. It just starts flame wars between people ridiculing the poster and the poster flaming them back. The reason PirateCraft has teleporting is because people bitched about it not being there, and Gods eventually succumbed to community pressure.

Adding a different world doesn’t change that the main world where people have their bases will remain the same?

And PirateCraft is much bigger than it was, who is to say it won’t be popular now that it is established.

Bottom line overall.

gods is making a new world with NO TP but as for TP on this world it stays and won’t change. Now I do like the idea browe but as crazy said this was talked about millions of times before.

Now the debate on tps was settled a long time ago but again I do get where your coming from.

As we’ll as the idea of a hub which I am really excited for. That will be a sight to see.

Hope it clears it up.

I agree with browed it will promote more trade. It will also give us all a chance to sail and have ship battles what are supposed to be the main mechanics of pirate craft. And yes made a million times with the same answer from godsy.

Guys it’s getting heated, just calm your farms. I live on other sides of the map to all my friends on this server, and I’d probably quit the server if there were no homes, that’d make every business on ae0’s island go bankrupt. ;-; #pray4thenewpiratecraft

I definitely agree with @browe454 , but I’m kind of iffy with the subject of making a new separate world for that, and even with having a hub, I’m worried about the population of PirateCraft, yes it’s a hell of a lot bigger than it used to be back then, but I don’t think it’s big enough for separate worlds, it would make them split into these worlds, making them less and less on each world. So, I would suggest that it would be applied on this world, and when we grow even more, begin with hubs. I don’t know anything, that’s just my 2 cents. Take it as you will.

Viper I agree, then all of the players would be split between

1- Oue world rn

2- Minigame world

3- No tp world 2

i don’t think 50 people will cut it for 3 servers
