fire lock pistols and muskets were in naval combat by boarding parties and marksmen at the time than why not add them? will add some more ranged weapons apart from bows that were used at the time in land and naval combat. I do not know how hard will it be to make them or to balance them but it would be cool to have some more ranged weapons that are not a bow and arrow.

Gods mentioned it lately too.
He won’t install it soon as 1.9 has a bad performance and more plugins make it even harder to run the server.

But if i recall correctly there is a texturepack that turns bows in flintlock pistols and adjusts their sound…just if you are really into it.
