Mini Maps – People visibility

Just to begin I’m not accusing anyone of having a mini map and having “view people” toggled, I’m just wondering whether there is any kind of anti-cheat implementation in the server that prevents it.. The people that have been narrowly escaping me are not important.

Recently I’ve been hunting people with invisibility potions drank and ensuring that I am not seen (people without /near ability) but for some reason recently they have always seem to log out or TP before I reach them. This may be coincidence or they might hear my footsteps or something.. But I would just like to ask, are players allowed to have mini maps that allow players to see people on them? If not can we please add it to the rules as I believe there are no anti cheat plugins in place to prevent people using mini maps.

No, there is only one mod allowed on this server and that is Optifine no other mod is allowed what so ever.

Okay good, I just wanted that written down so people are aware. I could see people getting away with using it and trivializing it with “what? it’s just a map..” or something along the lines.

I’LL BE WATCHING HUNTEE’S.

Well when i am in one of my bases i usually keep an eye to the livemap and the outside as well as an escape tunnel…maybe this is how most people evaded you…or at least logged out?
Because even if you are invisible your armor is not…even though you might now that but a walking armor is quite suspicious.
