Cham, you have been warp killing there for ages, and I am not surprised that you get salty when someone makes your life more difficult to ease theirs. however you only dement bislo’s solution, and do not bring anything new yourself. Bislo, unlike you, runs the warp instead of trying to make easy cash killing defenseless people on it. Dag, unlike you, had a constructive idea to add to this discussion. So please try to do better next time.

I said on TS yesterday that BE Government does not make executive decisions about /warp trade. But let me make one thing clear: I support Bislo’s solution, as does most of BE government.

If you have anything else to add, please do. I will certainly listen. And I am sure that Bislo will too.

Holy tolitoes BATMAN. Can you BE calm your titties. I brought up my issue with a trap and suggested a piston contraption to block it off. I understand that this isn’t my warp. I understand I have no control over it. I just wanted to bring up my concern with warp traps. That is all. Godsdead has spoken and Bislo is in the right and I am in the wrong. I am sorry if I offended you Michty, I didn’t want you to get your balls in a vice. It is a pirate server.. there is no such thing as easy cash…. if it was easy everyone would be doing it. Most of the time I give items back to defensless noobs because I kill for bounties… And let me remind you I have killed many of attackers who are seiging warp trade as well as many of those who are seiging the BE’s bases. For example, DragonBlanc or whatever his name was when a BE member was stuck in their stone circle. I killed him and didn’t even ask for items. Also when that little town (-5300,-3000) was being sieged and destroyed none of your BE members would help each other but I ran 2000 blocks to help you guys out. I am not against anyone on the server, instead I like to have fun and face a challenge. Yesterday I told Dags that I wouldn’t be salty if he killed me. (He did) (and now I am salty still after getting revenge, I’m still coming for you dag :P). I understand people have different intentions with the server, it is no ones place to tell people how to play the game or criticize on what they do when it is within the rules. This forum was debating what I thought to be an abuse of a player owned warp. (I was wrong and the whole BE was right) Lets get one thing straight though. Don’t go dissing me for playing my way, I don’t comment on how all the BE hides in their stone block fortresses amassing resources for no apparent reason. Give your head a shake.

Alright Chamber, I might not know who you have killed, be it the toughest of the tough. It doesn’t change my view upon how if you kill a guy who is practically defenceless against your god armour, then it’s not fair and that is what happens at Warp trade.

You think I’m trying to piss you of, but truth is, I am pissed to, that you disrespect me by not listening to what I tell you in-game and then going to the forums making a big fuss about it. I’m not trying to piss you off, and you might not be the worst of the warp killers I’ve ever seen roam the server, but the cage is really not a spawn trap, its a spawn gate, that can be closed if needed. There might be flaws, but until I feel its worth changing then I am keeping it as it is. It’s only been up for 2 days and have barely been used.

Bislo so what would you do when people walk around in iron armor with a 1000 dollar bounty on their head? or afk at warp trade with a 400 dollar bounty? Also if I get killed with no gear on at warp trade then is that too considered unfair? A bounty is placed on a player because he or she has pissed off another player. All I am doing is collecting that. Half the players on the server have lots of god gear and stacks of gapples. They just hoard them. Then they quit or get banned. Like I said I return iron armor after I collect bounties. If they are wearing God I have no reason to feel unjust in killing them because they had similar armor. I am positive a man like you, who has played on the server for many moons has plentiful resources but do you ever wear god? Can no one in better armor kill you if you are in iron? Do you know how hard it is to fight people when they don’t go to warps because they hide in their siege proof bases? (Possibly a better solution: make the warps hide players names @food, trade, and market)

The fact that I don’t waste my time trying to raid people at their base should attribute to the fact that I don’t harass noobs or defenseless players. The majority of bases you can raid are those who haven’t played long enough or do not have the knowledge to protect their base. I stay clear from those. People who go to warps looking to trade obviously have resources to do so. They are also not defenseless just because they choose not to protect themselves at that moment in time.

You are making a point, I see.. I too am not a fan of the brick boxes. It can be hard to kill someone on this server because most like to hide. I cannot patrol my warp 24/7 either and the cage is not limiting you from going to warp trade, taking a kill and leaving. It might get you on KOS, but how am I to know when you arrive? I can’t know unless you tell me, so I can’t close the gate.. What I can do is close it after you and prevent more victims from walking around the town as I think no one likes to be stuck in a cage, so they would like to warp away when they realise the gate is closed.. which is what I intended. If bigger crews, such as CoV decides they want to have some fun, then I can also pull the plug on that party by closing the gate, with no prey, no fun.

Warps will never be 100% safe.. but I’m not gonna just sit by anymore.

One more point I’d like to add:

Most players are NOT defenseless by any means, (besides completely new players that joined recently). Most players have the skill, wit, knowledge, and understanding of the game AND server to make the proper decisions to defend themselves. If they choose not to make the necessary precautions and arm themselves sufficiently for self-defense, that is NOT the responsibility of the PvP’er.

The server is called PirateCraft MC, so that should give you an idea of the environment within the server, (besides all the death messages you’ll see from time to time). You don’t join Super Mario World to explore the bushes, you play the game to jump on turtle heads and shoot fire from your hands into Bowser’s booty.

I respect and understand the viewpoints of the builders on the server, but they also need to be able to respect and understand the viewpoints of PvP’ers. As Bislo1 has just displayed here, builders, you are NOT defenseless. You are NOT powerless. If anything, you have just as much power if not MORE than the PvP’ers, because at the end of the day the PvP’ers need a place to fight. Daniel_McLachlen’s base is the perfect example of an anti-pvp base. One time when I assisted Hayden with a raid on Daniel, we couldn’t even touch him! He even blew us up with his cannons point-blank, and we almost didn’t make it out alive. We had to retreat and let him be. That’s how builders should think. If you walk into a blackhole without your anti-gravity lingerie on, expect to get your body warped.
